Reclaimed Barn Wood Mantel

NAME:  Large Mortised Timber with Hardware.  Stained black.

DIMENSIONS: 72″ long x 8″ thick x 11-1/2″ deep.

SOURCE OF TIMBER: Wausau, Wisconsin barn, circa 1890’s.

APPROXIMATE AGE OF TIMBER: 200 + years.

SPECIES: Old growth pine

COMMENTS: Crazy big timber for the right setting! Nice color. Lots of flat finish coats will protect it but it didn’t destroy it’s original authenticity.  We love this piece! Nice size. Original mortises. Antique hardware hooks on both ends for fireplace tools. This piece has it all.
