NAME: Funky Rustic Mortised Timber.  Weathered grey.

SOURCE OF TIMBER:  Wausau, Wisconsin old barn circa 1890’s.

APPROXIMATE AGE OF TIMBER: 200 + years.

SPECIES: Hardwood.  Likely Ash.

COMMENTS: Looking for a very rustic old gnarly timber mantel? Then this should work. It’s seen a lot of life.  Original Mortised front.  Lots of texture. Authentic very old, very worn timber. Nice weathered grey color.  Lots of coats of acrylic poly to smooth it out a little.
